The colors for your wedding could be in anything you wanted. It would be lovely to have a Christmas tree that is fully decorated at your reception and the evening could end with the happy couple leaving in a horse drawn sleigh.
The first snowfall: It would be lovely to theme your entire wedding around the first snowfall. You can model your decor after snowfall and snowflakes and use glitter to make the room sparkle just like a fresh snowfall. It will be spectacular no matter how you choose to do it.
Valentine's Day: There is no way you could forget this day of love, and it serves as the perfect setting for your amazing love themed wedding. There are many people who choose to use this idea and with all of the hearts it just seems to fit.
Explore other options
For couples who would like to have a less than traditional winter wedding, a theme that is less than ordinary would be best. Having a ski resort wedding would be great with hot chocolate instead of punch and a ski chalet themed reception. The favors could all be themed with skis and snow and the guests could all wear ski clothes.
A few other cute ideas would be the winter Olympics, Ice skating, or even hockey. The possibilities are endless when it comes to alternate themes. By using your imagination you can easily create a theme that is unique to your wedding.
