I can not stress this fact enough, always and I do mean always, have a back up plan when having an outdoor wedding. No one can control the weather and that includes a bride. The best idea is to have a back up indoor location in case of rain. Usually people choose to have an indoor reception if the wedding is outdoors, and this serves as the back up location in case of bad weather.

The next tip is on decorating for your wedding held outdoors. When it comes to decorating personally I prefer to have less, some people do not agree with this method of decorating. This is entirely up to you, I would think a few nicely arranged flowers would be enough, you have to keep in mind that you will have the natural beauty as decoration enough.

There are some problems with hearing at beach ceremonies. If you are saying your vows and the waves are crashing behind you, the guest may not be able to hear you speak your vows. In this situation, a sound system can be a heaven sent gift. Another great piece of advice is to visit the site before the planned day to pick up around the area.

If you plan to have your wedding reception outside as well you will need to reconsider menu choices. If your wedding is during the summer you may want stay away from food with mayonnaise in them. You may also want to consider using bug repellent candles to keep the flies away from the food.
