A graduation party should be a joyous occasion, whether it's to celebrate the finishing of kindergarten, high school, university, or a specialty school of some sort. It should be a time for friends and family members to get together and congratulate the graduate on his/her accomplishment. These can be simple gatherings or elaborate shindigs. The hardest part to planning a graduation party is making sure that everything goes according to plan. Not all parts of the party may go as planned, so having a back up plan is necessary. For instance, if the party is supposed to be held outdoors, but it begins to rain, an alternate site needs to already be in mind. It's a good idea that the guests already know of this alternate site as well, which can be told to them in their invitation. The weather isn't always willing to cooperate for parties and last minute decisions can be frustrating to guests.
